An experimental studies on the Anti conversive Effect of Apitoxin Theraphy in Mouse

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effect of api-toxin theraphy, on the convulsion induced by Electro Convulsive Treatment, api-toxin solution was injected into subcutaneous in mice.
Anti-convulsion of api-toxin theraphy was studies by counting the time to death.
The obtained results are summarized as follows.
1. At the convulsion induced by ECT, the persent of live was 80% in api-toxin injected group, 60% control group.
2. The convulsion time of api-toxin injected group was 29.32±5.40sec, whereas control group was 48.91±4.64sec.
3. The time to death was lengthened significently.
According to the above results, the api-toxin theraphy was effective on the convulsion.
It is considered that the api-toxin theraphy could be applied in ciinical use.
